February was fun. And longer than usual, which is always nice. It’s time to see how things went in Clear The List.

Language Review of February

How did I do in February? Let’s see…

Korean

Things started well with Korean and although I tried to keep getting up early enough to fit in my full hour of Korean like when I’m at home, it got harder as my time in France went on (and as I got tireder!)

That said, I did manage to buy a little Korean workbook in Fnac. Hooray!

French

I had the best time in France!

It was so much fun even though I was working every day – except for my day off when I caught the train to Paris.

French is a solid language for me but no matter how “good” you are at a language, it’s always nice to spend some time using it fully from time to time.

Instagram Language Challenge

I didn’t find as much time as I’d have liked to stick with the Instagram Language Challenge in February once I left for France.

Hey ho! I can pick up my Korean number knowledge in March.

Language Goals for March

Korean Carry On

I’ll be carrying on with Korean in March with Shannon.

My plan is to move forward with the basic sentence structure and particles that Shannon explained brilliantly here.

I’m sticking with my daily Snapchat speaking/reading (follow me at ldlanguages), HelloTalk catch-up, and Memrise.

I’ll be adding a page a day from my new French Korean workbook, which I’m excited about, and on the weekend, I’m adding the words from the vocab lists on the pages I’ve done that week to my own Memrise course.

Slovenian Travel Bits

On the 31st March, we’ll be heading to Slovenian for a few days. I’m so excited!

I’ve wanted to visit this little European gem for ages now. Like, seriously, years. So this is cool.

My plan is to add this Slovenian course to my daily routine from today (1st March!) to give me some very basic footing for the 5 days or so we’re there.

There’s 19 levels and 452 words. So divided by 30, I’ll be aiming for 15 new words a day to finish the course before we go…this may take over Korean for the month!

And of course, I’m looking forward to make a Learning Slovenian In Slovenia video! Yay!
