What is Language Life?

Language Life is an online program for ambitious language learners that teaches you how to learn a language. You become central to the experience, and so you learn languages better in the best ways for you.

That means it’s not a prescriptive one-size-fits-all ‘system’.

Instead, you gain the knowledge that through the activities in the curriculum enables you to establish how YOU learn languages best.

Why does Language Life exist?

I knew there was a lot of great language resources out there. But from my experience as a learner myself, I also knew there was something no one was talking about as much – how to learn a language.

And the more I thought about this, the more I knew it was the missing piece to so many people’s language learning.

But it had to be more than an online course. To get real results, I needed to combine self-study curriculum, human support, and regular practice.

And so, Language Life was born!

Who is the best fit for Language Life?

Language Life is designed with ambitious people in mind who have already learnt one or more additional languages before.

And for people who are always open and willing to try new things and understand more about how language learning works.

That said, if you’re learning your first language, don’t be put off!

How much time will it take for me to see results?

If you dig into the weekly prompts right away, then the answer to this question is…right away!

I don’t know about you, but without a little nudge or inspiration, I don’t write or speak as much as I’d like to when I’m studying languages.

The prompts are that nudge.

The more you use the prompts to practice writing & speaking, the sooner you’ll start to see results.

And of course, as you take in the curriculum, if you keep learning languages at the same time, then you’re able to put everything into practice right away too!

How is Language Life different from other things out there?

Language Life is unlike anything I’ve seen available to language learners before.

Most options focus on either teaching you a specific language, or on giving you a very specific one-size-fits-all method to follow. Seeing as we’re all unique and learn differently, you’ll have a problem there.

Then there tends to be the focus on either self-study or personal coaching. Why not blend both?

Language Life, on the other hand, is the combination of self-study elements with personal high touch human coaching.

This put with my experience as a learner and a teacher makes for a unique program for healthy language freedom.
